When on a serious spiritual path to break the cycle of birth and death you must let go of everything that is binding you in the material world. It is not easy, but it has to be done.  These things can include jobs, relationships, family, beliefs, ways of beIng, habits,  etc. In the area of family it is good to communicate to them what you are doing and to set them up so they understand.

Kalindi speaks to this when she says, “I want you to know that at certain points in your transformation, there are many things you have to really let go of and it is so painful. But it will all come back around, and everything will be okay. And it will be as God wants it. And you want it to be as God wants it.”
