Kalindi tells us that her ecstasy comes from having let go of everything she thought was true. The letting go has to be real and the giving up has to be real. It takes a strong person with perseverance and faith. She says, “Every step that you want to take closer to God means more letting go, more surrender, and more giving up. You have to completely, entirely, absolutely erase completely off the chalkboard every single way that you want it to be. You have to have great trust and faith in God, within your connection to God within yourself. You need trust in your Master to do what it is that I’m talking about. You have to surrender completely. There is so much to let go of. I’m not talking about material things. I am talking about the entire structure of the being of illusion, of the ego structure, and of the way that the mind thinks – the way that you are wired up to behave, the way that you exist, the way that you think is right or wrong.”
