Kalindi tells us that if you want to be with God, then what you have to do is pay attention and focus – a part of you focuses within on God and never leaves that focus. A part of you can work and do what you have to do, and the other part is keenly focused on God in every way, and He never goes out of your consciousness. Never. Set your life up so He’s all around you. You live in an austere situation, and you only have things around you that remind you of God. You’re striving for union. Don’t go away from Him. You’re lucky to have found Him in the first place.
