Kalindi states that the longing is the love and it pulls you ever deeper. The longing for fulfillment and to return Home is in everyone. It is the way He embraces you and pulls you closer to Him. There are two types of longing. One is the longing you feel in the separation from God and it is the most painful thing to feel. As you let go into that pain you will find the longing of your love for God and His love for you. When you have reached full union with God there is still a longing. If feels sweeter. It is God calling you to come even closer. The longing never ends, but the mood of the longing changes.
