Gourasana states, “The most difficult thing to do and the hardest thing to understand is how to break free from this place. One reason that it is so hard is that first you must understand that you are bound by the illusion. Otherwise there won’t be the motivation.” He goes on to point out this is a prerequisite to serious spiritual life and always has been. There are certain laws of nature and certain facts that never change no matter what your belief is. No one is above the laws of this place. To break free from this place the first thing that you have to do is you have to face the reality that as long as you stay in this place, you will suffer. This place was created that way and it is inescapable.
