God has given up free will and it is our choice as to whether we will keep this will or surrender to God. The bottom line of surrender is that no matter how good we try to make it, there will still be suffering, separation and duality in this world. You have to come to a point where you honestly pray that you no longer want your free will and you want to give your free will back to God.
