Kalindi states there is nothing wrong with personal pleasures and preferences, but at times on the spiritual path Home, austerities must be taken and these pleasures and preferences must be put aside or dropped altogether. This path is a constant state of letting go and doing God’s will; change is the rule and attachments will be broken.
